Okay, so I know a lot of us use WordPress blogs or the like for our character logs. I found something really cool for those of us who do so and are also into making playlists for our characters. (Okay, so that may filter everything down to me, but still.) And forgive me if you guys have figured this out and I'm late to the party, I haven't played around with WordPress forever so I never got to test this in the format 'till now.

So, if you go into Widgets, there is a "Text" widget that you can place on your blog/account. If you make a Spotify playlist and take the embed code from that playlist (you can grab it from right-clicking on the playlist within Spotify and selecting "Cody Embed Code"), you can past that into the text widget and then BAM! Your playlist embedded on your WordPress's front page!

Example of what it looks like on Lena's WP as liked here: http://beatsbyananda.wordpress.com/

Okay, well, ~I~ think it's cool anyway. So nyah. Big Grin

I just checked, and this also works with Blogger and Grooveshark in pretty much the exact same way. In Blogger, the widgets are under Layout, and in Grooveshark it's Share/Embed. The dimensions of the embedded code don't matter, Blogger automatically resizes.

I hadn't even thought of this. Thanks, Sam!

PS: I just poked around Lena's blog and literally made this face D:
Playlists are win. You are definitely not the only one. *g* Also yay, another person who uses Spotify!

I put mine on a separate page, but embedding it into the sidebar is a pretty nifty idea.
