That's going to involve a 15 hour drive each way, so I'm not sure if I'll be around much the day after I get back. I might still be recovering.
It's a camping style festival, but if I find a computer or that my phone works I might check in.

1. Have an awesome time. Heh. I went to a much smaller festival this weekend and saw Sharon van Etten / Mavis Staples / Calexico / Wilco and
it was amazing.
Advice: if a giant thunderstorm blows through and you are going to hide in the beer tent, make sure you have beer tickets with you because why don't they take cash? (J/K: was driving, therefore the only person within line of sight who was sober.)
2. Drive safely. Seriously, I would break up that drive somewhere, especially coming back.
3. There are so many bands on that list I would love to see and I'm sure you have more but let me recommend Trombone Shorty. I'd never heard of him before I saw him the first time and wow. Seriously, dude is
amazing live. Not-to-be-missed.
4. I disagree with kai! There is bound to be downtime and you should absolutely employ down-time via telephone magics to taunt us with how much fun you're having.
Yeah, I agree with the breaking up of the drive thing. I drove from Denver to Chicago as the only driver, and from Denver to Indianapolis splitting the drive with my brother (the latter of which ended in horrible snowstorms, which added like five hours to our drive - we barely made it in alive). Neither are recommended. Find a bed and sleep in it. I mean, if you're thinking you'll be dead and gone for a day, ANYway, why not make that day half your total drive? And then you'll still be rested enough to play with us when you get back. =]
