June: Opening Howl / Inner Sky - kai - 06-17-2013
[The June moot has begun! As there is only one caern in the area, garou from both Forgotten Questions and Cold Crescent are expected to attend and participate. The date of the actual moot is June 23rd, so everything in these threads is to be considered out-of-character knowledge until the conclusion of the moot threads.
Please post your character in here! If you don't post in by the time these threads close, it's assumed that they didn't show up. It is not necessary to post how much gnosis is contributed, as a gathering of this size doesn't have anything to worry about in that respect.
Since this weekend was packed for me, these threads are going up a day late, for which I am genuinely sorry; it just slipped my mind amid all the festivities.]

Last month, Keisha was late because she was still learning her way around the region and turned left when she should have turned right. This month, there is no such embarrassment on her part. She makes her way up to the gathering right on time, bare feet pressing against dirt and grass as she walks along toward the gathering. She's pulled back her dreadlocks and wrapped a piece of leather cord around them to keep them back; they rest in a bunch along her back. She's dressed in a sleeveless brown dress, a tan tie-dyed style stripe down the sides and a waist sash binding it together. Her only other adornment is an aqua aura stone on a cord around her neck, symbolizing purification.
When she arrives, she gives smiles of greeting to everyone there that she knows. She is with the Children of Gaia by the time things are officially kicked off.

Three Days is there alone, wearing a pair of grass stained jeans and a rough plaid shirt checkered in red and black. His shoulder length hair hangs rough and loose about his face, and his eyes gleam with an uneasy amalgam of apprehension, suspicion, and anger.
When the howls break forth, he raises his face to the night sky and lets go with a cry all of his own, aching and sorrowful and bruised with with a terrible rage.

Two homid wolves of average height for their genders join the circle. The others might have maybe seen but not spoken to Celduin last night. Both of Fog's children wear their dark hair long and he walks beside she, not much older and not at all more experienced. His carriage betrays a station of leadership he doesn't boast because he doesn't feel it. He can't lie even when he doesn't open his mouth.
To look at them one can hazard a guess: Uktena and Fiann. Or Child of Gaia and Fiann. His lineage doesn't out him but hers does. She can be nothing else but Fianna. They stand alone.
And they watch and they maybe feel the start of the sky opening up and he leans against her easy for his apprehension. When it's time to shift and lift their voices he shifts and lifts his voice, ragged for the journey that brought them here but strong and young and savage for the pain and joy of living yet to tell about it.

The Right Hand was present, dressed in her Lupus skin of brown-gray-tan fur, fluffy and thick and healthy. She didn't look much like a Bone Gnawer, perhaps more of a Child of Gaia given the patterns of her pelt, or a Black Fury given the authoritative presence the petite female managed to carry herself with.
She stood with no pack, but hovered near where other members of the Sept of Cold Crescent was. Though the only Caern was located in the wild and protected by the members of Forgotten Questions, and while this was the only place that true Moots would be held, The Right Hand was faithful to her cityscape Sept, and so she would stand with it instead.
When it was time to howl, her voice (unimpressive in tone but pronounced none the less) joined the chorus.

Amidst the throng of many skins (size, complexion, fur, form) that the two Septs combine to form, Jack trudges along in his native four paws.
He is the same gruesome bulldog of a wolf, bowed out front legs made mutt-like with its muzzle's underbite that shows teeth every time his lips quiver with a breath.
A back that ripples with brutish muscle heaped haphazardly on muscle by Gaia's blessing, he cuts through the crowd, a wave of brawn that greets those he knows and brushes by those he doesn't in the same way, a lupine salutation that comes with physical contact where it is allowed, the flick of a tail or breath on their hind quarters, or against the legs of those in other forms, sniffing their feet and shoes and with those trapping the path they'd walked to this point.
As he accepts Keisha's greeting, and those of others he knows, and he circles around one more time, stalking through the mob of Bone Gnawers at the edge with the other Cliath number, giving his own tribe no shortage of face time (you call that a face?) and then rounds back to howl (roar) beside the Child of Gaia and whatever other Garou gravitate toward the druid.

[i hate to do this, but! i would love to get erich, charlotte and ingrid in on this moot. however, we haven't really hashed out what's going on with them yet -- i.e. how they're getting from point a to b, whether or not they're all traveling together or apart, or what. so: would it be possible to keep this moot open just a couple more days? i understand if it's not, but tyvm if it is!]
