And Jim hasn't met them yet!
This is a travesty that will not be tolerated.
This lack of socialization will not stand!

What I mean is...
I figure Jim's ideal when it comes to playing the part of welcome wagon (along with whoever else wants to join him - I'm looking at Sid and Sera!) He has enough resonance to make him a tough guy to miss, and he has a big heart with so much love to give.
Anyway, if you want to play a scene to let your PC know where the chantry is, what the recent goings on in Denver are, and all that good stuff then grab me! Or just post here. I'm on AIM at iplaymyradio, or you can just FPM me to work something out. I'll be around a good amount this week.

Sid is usually okay at welcome wagon stuff. Her paranoia means she notices most new mages from a mile away and will usually drift closer to sniff them out. She does alright solo, but does better around her buddies. Her shyness can make it difficult for her to stay in scenes sometimes, but I try really hard to keep that difficulty on me and not my fellow players. If she runs away from your character, that doesn't mean I don't want to play with you! (In fact, I'm evil, and am just as likely to throw her at someone she had a bad reaction to as someone she was okay with.) It does mean it might be harder to do a follow-up scene, but again, I try really hard to keep that difficulty to my side of the street.
I will also note that chantry info isn't part of Sid's particular welcome packet, which just means she's not likely to bring it up. She's a good person to make contact with because she easily and willingly shares information with the other mages that she already knows.

Uh, yeah. I WANT TO PLAY WITH NEW MAGES TOO.
Especially since I am actively storytelling for WtA. Need the relaxation time.
So Sera will totally hang out with Jim and Sid to meet y'all and can be anywhere at any time for any reason because you guys she is on drugs.
