Taking a Trip Back in Time, PCP-Style [attn: Jamie/Niko] - Samael - 07-11-2013
Lena holds the Ziplock bag up to the light, examining its contents closely. She does so with a little trepidation, and Sid may be able to notice that she's staring at it a little too long, perhaps a bit too intently-yet-distracted. She's been doing so ever since Sid came over with the requested drug...Awakened PCP. That sounds like one of the most terrifying things ever in Lena's mind and that's why she's still mentally-debating whether this is a good idea.
Finally, she sets it on the table and gives the other woman a little smile of gratitude. It's just a touch muted, but sincere. "Thanks, hon. Hopefully I can get down to who made this shit, give us a heads up on what's going on. I just need to..."
Put myself under the influence of a potentially mind- and soul-destroying substance.
"...use a small sample and follow the lines of Resonance back to its creation."
Sid has agreed to watch over her, and Lena is deeply appreciative of that fact. The Ecstatic even cleaned up her apartment a bit so it isn't a complete mess for her fellow mage; the energy drink cans are all recycled and she even vacuumed. She takes the bag into the kitchen and sets to turning it into a smokable format of administration. It's the method with the least risk, and while she has a distinct dislike for drugs of this caliber she is rather adept at how to use them. She sprinkles it over loose tobacco, then sets to hand-roll that into a cigarette.
She keeps back a ways from Sid as she looks it over, then she slips her earbuds in. She queues up one of her earliest club mixes to put her in a nostalgic mood, thinking back to the past. That's where she wants to go. She lights the PCP-infused cigarette up, letting the smoke spread through her lungs and the effects carry over her system. As she does so, she tries to latch onto the resonance and follow it back through time to its influsion into the drug, so she can hopefully find out who is behind its creation.
