A phone call [Attn. Darcy] - phil - 07-12-2013 It's a simple thing. At some point during the earlier hours of the night, Darcy's phone begins to ring. The number is local to Denver. RE: A phone call [Attn. Darcy] - Rapture - 07-12-2013 It rings and it is answered. "Darcy." The accent on the other end is American, though when dealing with their kind that tells you all of about nothing. RE: A phone call [Attn. Darcy] - phil - 07-12-2013 "This is Samantha Balbec." The voice is smooth, cultured, with but a hint of a French accent. "I was glad to hear that I have family in town. We should meet." RE: A phone call [Attn. Darcy] - Rapture - 07-12-2013 "Samantha Balbec, Darcy O'Driscoll." The tone shifted to one of formality rather than the busied and efficient answering of the phone. "Yes, there's still some of us left." There was some bite to that. An undertone of and I intend to keep it that way. "Agreed. When and where?" [We could use the chat if you're around and would like to!] RE: A phone call [Attn. Darcy] - phil - 07-12-2013 [Awesome. Email might work best for me, since I don't get much chat time usually. I'll shoot you an opening post?] |
