Local News Report - Howl - 08-15-2013

The following story will be reported on by various Denver news outlets. The gist of the story is as follows:
  • There has been a recent outbreak of rabies among stray animals around the city and in the surrounding suburbs. Rabid animals have been sighted and captured on three separate occasions. (Locations listed as Garfield Lake Park, City Park and Red Rocks.)
  • If anyone sees an unattended animal behaving in an unusual or aggressive manner, they are warned to stay away and call animal control immediately. (A number is provided.)
  • Pet owners are also reminded to keep their pets supervised and leashed when outdoors.

No mention is made of any attacks or human casualties.
