what element(s) are your characters? - Damon - 02-02-2014
New game! What element(s) are your characters made up of? I'm primarily using the traditional four elements:
Fire: impulsive, dynamic, kinetic, sometimes RAR
Water: mutable, malleable, adaptable, maybe a bit mysterious
Air: light, bright, soaring, expansive
Earth: solid, warm, dark, tangible -- sort of an association here to the five senses for me, too.
I used Metal for a while, but that was too hard for me to really interpret even for myself. I mean, if I thought of metal as iron, I'd use it very differently from if I thought of it as gold! That said, feel free to use whatever elemental system you like (though first one who tells me their char is primarily carbon, nitrogen and oxygen is gonna get FROWNED UPON), and be as specific or vague as you like!
WITHOUT FURTHER ADO:
Calden is primarily Earth. Maybe a touch of fire or water? But yeah, he is like 95% Earth.
Erich is equal parts Fire and Air with a tiny smattering of Earth.
Richard is Water and Fire with a slight Water predominance.

I thought this was going to be based on the periodic table and got way too excited right before I clicked on the thread.

ANYWAY
Hector is Water. Ignore the stuff that looks like Fire, that's just Rage.
Pan is straight-up Fire. Spoiler alert.
Nate is mortal. So nobody gives a shit what element he is. His blood type is O-negative tho. Universal donor, son!

WELL YOU CAN DO PERIODIC TABLE TOO. Just not carbon-nitrogen-oxygen, that's just boring.

I am going to nerd out and say:
Amber's a fire-bender
Connor is an air-bender
Ingrid is a water-bender
Phoebe is an air-bender
Samantha is an earth-bender
Sid is a water-bender [though by strictly 'what element' she's water with a touch of the others]
Vee is dead so who cares
Zachary is probably an earth-bender.

Éva - water, earth.
Charlotte - air.

Adam is Air and Fire. But - uh. He is Air and Fire using more Tarot-y associations. He is not bright soaring or expansive but he is mind-realm sharp-sword Air.
Táltos is/was Earth and Water. Because - uh. The earthly realm and the spirit realm were his schticks and informed his personality, too. Experience and Mysteries.
Jack is also Earth and Water, but Water is probably more prominent. Because Water is for Visionaries and for Mystery.
Lux is a cypher you do not get the translation to.
Tamsin is Fire and Earth.
But if they were benders in the Avatar world! *grin*
Jack would be an Earth-bender, Adam would be a Fire-bender, Lux would also be a Fire-bender, Tamsin would be a Water-bender, and Táltos would be an Air-bender.

Would totally be a Water-bender.

Equally Water and Air.
Probably an Air-bender. Thankfully not a Water-bender because then she would also blood-bend. #Sorry #NotSorry

Mostly Air but almost equally Fire.
Total Fire-bender though.
