afterimage [attn: Spirit mages] - errin - 07-07-2014
She starts showing up on Sunday evening. Someone young and plain-faced, with lank dark blonde hair plastered down over her ears, dressed in a t-shirt, shorts, sneakers. She looks to be in her mid-teens, tall, and with a physique that has her easily mistaken for a boy.
At random, she appears in reflections, always somewhere behind the Mage, close but still out of reach. Every time, what happens is the same.
The area around the Mage seems to grow lighter and warmer, like the sun appearing from behind clouds even if the sun is already shining down on them. The girl climbs onto something low - a ledge, a chair, the bottom rung of a railing. As she leans her body forward her foot slips out from under her. Her eyes go wide, her arms flail for just a moment, and then she's falling falling falling-
Gone. Disappeared as if she had never been there, as if she'd never existed at all. It would be easy to write off these occurrences as imagination or hallucination, except for the voice that says in their ears:
"What have you do-"

[Aw yiss, I ran a thing and now there's some flavorful aftermath! This is a result of events that took place in the thing I ran last night. Until this little doubleshot is closed, Sally the Ghost will show up at random to those with at least Spirit 1 should you so desire. I'll leave it up to you all if she shows up around your PCs while they're out and about. If you'd rather she didn't, that's totally cool.
Like I said, this is mostly a flavor thing until this gets resolved, but anyone wanting to investigate is welcome to hit me up with ideas or whatever their PC would do to look into it (you're welcome to post to this thread or simply FPM me rolls). I also recommend arranging scenes with Alyssa, Kalen, or Elijah, since they were there.]
