Riot at Cherry Creek Mall - Howl - 08-09-2014 Following the event on the 8th of August, news coverage will begin to pop up detailing a minor riot which broke out in Cherry Creek Mall on Friday evening. According to the articles, a gang of 6-10 hooligans wearing white masks managed to cut the power for the mall, whereupon they descended on the stores and began to steal as much merchandise as they could get their hands - loudly encouraging other mall patrons to do the same. The incident quickly escalated, with many of the mall's younger shoppers joining in on the criminal activity while others attempted to stop them. Violent damage was done to a number of the storefronts, in addition to a BMW X1 (a contest prize) which had been located on the floor. The masked thieves managed to make it out of the Apple Store with over $15,000 worth of merchandise before the power was brought back. They were able to evade police and are still at large.
