Someone has been off the radar for a few weeks. She returns with a text post.
You guys remember White Knight, right?
He called me tonight, on a number I haven't given anyone, from a number I didn't recognize, to tell me he wants to help me.
He told me my dad is still alive, that he doesn't agree with what the people who have him are doing to him, and he's trying to find out more about where they have him and what their plan is but all this is above his authorization level or something. He also said when I have a plan, he'll (he said "we" but I don't know who we is) do what he can to help, as long as the plan doesn't involve bloodshed or destruction of property.
Yeah. I kind of don't have a plan. I also don't trust this guy as far as I can throw my phone.
I'm going to visit Dr. Rose again. If we can power up his device I might be able to find Dr. Morgan and come up with a plan. If I can't I don't know what I'm going to do, but I'm going after my dad either way.

I know I probably don't need to tell you this, Alicia, but be careful. What it sounds like is that we have a pro-Technocracy Captain Goodweenie on our hands. The problem with people so obsessed with ideological purity is that nothing ever truly satisfies them right? I like that he seems to want to help, so long as our plan doesn't involve bloodshed or (lol) property destruction. Like we ever had a plan. Because we knew very well that whatever blood shed would be our own.
Also sounds an awful lot like "Hey, put together a plan that has no weaponry involved, and allow me to help, so that I can easily turn on you when you try to put said plan into play." He could be legit. But if I were a bad guy out to make a trap, this is how I'd do it. And we have no reason to trust these people.
They're powerful enough and willing enough to track us down, as you've noticed. I'm just a bit upset about the fact that they seem to know who and what you are now.

Nobody has any reason to trust anybody else ever and they never have and they never will. That's why everything sucks.

From what I could piece together, they didn't know you were Awake. It was what was keeping you relatively safe. And now at least this WK knows you're not just his Sleeper daughter. That kinda blows.
Okay, more than kinda. Especially since we don't know the motives of WK.
Gotta say, it creeps me out.

Do you need a place to chill for a while? We've got Elijah out of his apartment to hopefully stay the hell away from WK. I could offer you a number of options. Hell, maybe if you asked nicely you could stay with Dr. Elly?

A place to crash is about the only thing that isn't worrying me right now but thank you for the suggestions.
Now's probably a bad time to mention Dr. Rose's device runs on Q and I don't know where the node is, huh?
