journal glitch - errin - 05-31-2013

End of the month means it's journal time, and another glitch has been found in the system. Actually, it's kind of a couple of glitches all rolled together like a glitch taco.

Let's say you submit your journal using Jove's journal function, like you do. You click Update Journal BUT WAIT! Something happened. You forgot a scene or the formatting went awry or what have you. But when you try to click "delete" weird things happen. Here is how you make the magic happen:
  1. Right click the "delete" link.
  2. Choose to open in a new tab/window/whatever
And that's it. It'll look like you've only been taken back to My Characters, but if you refresh/view your journal the entry will be gone.

And one final thing, only players can do this. For some reason Admins are powerless to delete a journal entry unless it's their own.
