Where the heck is Howl? - Howl - 12-17-2014

Just wanted to post a status update for those who may have noticed my lack of activity this month. Basically, this is what happened:

1: I got a new computer. It is the shit.

2: I got Dragon Age 3. It ate my life.

3: Holiday insanity happened (and continues to happen) at work. As a result, I am often pretty tired and kind of at peak stress-tolerance. If I'm not around, it either means I'm working an evening shift or I'm just too tired to RP. Not that I don't love writing with you guys. It just takes a bit more brain power than mindlessly mashing buttons and/or watching Hulu.

This is a temporary situation though, so you'll be seeing more of me once holiday madness has calmed down a little. If anyone heard different, consider that information null and void.

tl;dr I'm around, I'm just a puddle of blerg because I work in a retail photo lab and it's almost Christmas.

Working retail over Christmas is an experience. I feel for you, I've done it a couple of times over the years.

It's all good though! I'm sure we all get it. Smile Also yay, shiny new computer goodness.

A friend of mine on Twitter cannot stop talking about DA. It's okay she does awesome charity work in a Stormtrooper costume so I don't mind.

I've done holiday retail before. Just soak your feet and drink some wine and mash buttons; I know that feel.

I have also to work Retail at christmas, it's not too bad here. But I feel ya, my stress button is nearly always half pressed at the moment.

Hopping on this thread for similar reasons - I ain'tn't dead either.

I have been worked like crazy and trying to spend my days off being normal and awake and catching up with people I haven't seen in way too long. Which kinda meant that I've not had much time to get on here. I head off on a week's holiday this weekend - Christmas skiing, woot! - so most likely won't be back on until January.

So have a good holiday, guys, and catch up with you soon.

(Howl - I haven't forgotten about the email scene you started, I'm just being ridiculously crap at getting it going at the moment. January!)
