One night, River and Ihsan would have a conversation over the little circular table they ate at in their apartment. Ihsan cooked (well, okay, she ordered take-out, but it was good take-out at least) and broke the news: she was leaving.
"Relocating. To London." She'd explain in her heavy accent between words. "I'm going to focus on these death cults and this is the place to do so. We will be in touch." With a wink, she'd add: "You will need to come visit. Have Samir bring you, it will be easy!"
She was gone two days later. The apartment had already come furnished so she didn't need to pack anything more than what she brought-- her tools, her collection of things for her craft, and her suitcase of clothes.
To help, she had paid up the next few month's rent. River could use the time paid for to either find a roommate or a new place to jam.
Onward, to adventure!
