Many neonates, ancillae, and even an elder or two fell in the Battle of Richthofen. But the Sabbat was beaten back and took their own casualties as well. Those vampires seeking the no-longer-certain safety of Elysium receive word through the various grape vines stretching across Denver:
While the great hall of Richthofen Castle will remain closed whilst undergoing repairs after the recent battle, they have been made welcome to use the subterranean war room and shelter.
The same shelter which Lady Lucille of Dampierre, Primogen of the Toreador and Keeper of Elysium, has begun to make more... Homey, in her own special way. Along with the art salvaged after the attack, the most glaring addition to the underground bunker is the gruesome and quickly-decaying head of Henrietta in Rags, turncoat to her Sect, placed on a spike near the vault-like entrance to the Camarilla's new salon.
Here, the Lord of Richthofen and newly named Prince of Denver, Helmer Rasmussen, has been directing the war effort from the castle's situation room alongside Seneschal Wenceslao, Sheriff Narcisa, and other members of the Camarilla heirarchy.
Vampires unsure of the safety of their own lairs after the attack have also been extended an invitation to make use of the temporary havens beneath Richthofen Castle. Spartan accommodations compared to some of their own hidey-holes, to be sure, but for those who appreciate safety in numbers the offer is there.
