While Sam Evans doesn't know a whole lot about the Garou Nation as a whole, or the culture of particular tribes, but she does know a thing or two about Garou as individuals. And she remembers a few of the things her father kept around their homes, both in Montpelier and in the wilderness of Vermont. Bits of bone, parts of weapons, items, artifacts.
Trophies of war.
It's been well over a month since she was drawn to Babi Yar Park by a feeling of anger and rage. Well over a month since she ran from object to object, dismantling the strange devices so that Law in War and Still Waters could finish them off. They did that, and they didn't get to take anything home with them as proof of their valor and bravery and ferocity.
Sam decided to fix that for them. She's been working on something for the Garou off and on ever since, and when she finally has them completed she goes to find them and give them their gifts.
Jack she maybe finds at the Broadway building, curled up in lupus on a roll on the floor. The petite Glass Walker kinswoman crouches to place an object on the floor before him, or steps forward to place it directly into gruff, gnarled hands the size of hamhocks.
Keisha is a little more difficult. She has her own place, but Sam is first directed to her shop. If she finds the Theurge there, or if her aunt or uncle directs her to someplace else, Sam does the same for her. She places a small object directly into her hands.
The objects that she gives them are not made from the same material as the objects that Sam collected, she's still deciding what to do with them, and what she can do with them. Probably make them into something else for these same Garou, but she wants it to be special. So these other things will have to do for now.
What they are: Replicas of the diamond constructs they found in the park that night. There are slips of metal to indicate the sides, and little jewels the size of the last bone of Sam's pinky to represent the glowing orbs that had been inside. These are connected from the top by a small, nearly invisible length of wire. There's a light, too, a simple LED that lights upward from the base, making those little jewels appear to glow.
They are, let's be honest, pretty remarkable little things.
She hopes that they are suitable trophies.
