Ages and ages ago (a few months, an unnecessary blink of the eye to a vampire) when Amber first fell into a good job and a good life, Lux mentioned she'd like a painting from the recently immortalized ghoul. That life is gone and that immortality has faded away, but Amber still remembered. And with the promise of the book on the horizon, a book of pictures that can make the world stand up in revolt, Amber has been trying to get it done, really she has. She has skrimped and saved and scratched together what she could in order to afford a canvas, paints, tools.
All things that are likely still on the fourth floor of a certain house near a cluster of train tracks, but she does not think herself welcome there, and so she does not go. Not even in daylight.
It's taken her some time but she finally managed to get some things together. And she managed to carve out some time to create something for the rebellious Toreador. An easy enough task when one refuses to go outside after sundown.
Which presents a problem when it comes to getting the painting to its desired destination. So contact is made - an email most likely - and a time and location are chosen for the painting to be delivered to a place of Lux's choosing. Amber drops it off and is away again before the sun dips behind the mountains.
The painting: Something with fire and passion, that gives a feeling of something overthrown, turned over and trampled. An idea perhaps, or a real thing, a prince on a white horse dashed to the ground beneath a queen's heeled shoe.
