Some of you may have heard about this already, but I'm signal boosting because it's a great project even if you're not a console/PC gamer.
There's a new Kickstarter (it kicked off today, in fact) for a video game called 'Aberford'. It's a brawler-style combat game with some quirks (button-mashing would actually be a poor strategy). It's also a zombie survival game that's different from much of what's out there: instead of starting in the post-apocalyptic wasteland where knives and shotguns and ammo are lying around and most survivors have figured out what's going on, you jump into the game right as the horrible infection is taking hold and catching everyone by surprise.
Also, it's set in the 1950s and all the playable characters are women, and you're fighting zombies with cast-iron skillets, rolling pins, golf clubs, and possibly a mop with a knife strapped to the end. Sooo...
