Awkward Merits and Flaws

So, whilst sitting around at work and thinking about the various things that one sees in real life that cause real world problems, I decided it would be fun to have a thread of real world flaws that one could thoroughly amuse themselves with in character.

And thus, I give to you: the Awkward Merits and Flaws repository:

Busty (1 pt flaw): Whether by the hand of the gods or the hand of man, you have a lot of extra stuff hanging around in the front. Soak 1 bashing after every athletics roll you make, because bouncing. Oww.

Mr./Ms. Donut (2 pt merit- technocracy only): You're the guy that shows up to meetings and briefings with donuts. Rain or shine, you always have something that lightens an otherwise boring meeting. As such, in any situation inside of a meeting room you are at a +2 dice to social interactions. +1 dice when interacting with your peers immediately after.

Closet Gryffindor (4 pt flaw - Order of Hermes only): The Order of Hermes is a proud tradition with a robust history and a surprisingly diverse population. You, however, let your childhood imaginings get the better of you. In short: you can't stop trying to make connections between the Order's paradigm and the Harry Potter universe. It makes you mildly irritating at best, and it makes your superiors think less of you when you accidentally let your geek flag fly. You are at a +2 difficulty to all interactions inside of your tradition as that you really, really, really have a hard time keeping your mouth shut about your obsession. Also, you suffer a +2 difficulty to all instances of magic when the Order's paradigm doesn't mesh with JK Rowling's universe. Let's hope you outgrow your little problem before someone smothers you with a pillow

Chandler Bing Effect (2 Pt Flaw): Could you BE any more socially awkward? Yeah, you're the guy (or girl) that tells that really funny (in your head) joke when you're uncomfortable. It doesn't help that the punchline is usually at the expense of the person(s) you're trying to impress.

Name Dropper (1 pt flaw): You had one time where you met someone truly remarkable, and you can't stop talking about it. Roll WP diff 8 to keep from bringing up your celebrity story in social situations.

Wealth of Facts (1 pt flaw): You're a wealth of knowledge, and you know it. Whenever someone says something inaccurate, you have a tendency to correct them, while unknowingly condescending them. Roll WP diff 8 to keep from telling people how wrong they are.

Windoze Luzer (3 pt flaw, Virtual Adepts only): Whatever the current prevailing knowledge in tech circles, you think you have it all figured out and it's everyone else who is wrong. You generally aren't even a player in the Bloody Techno Holy Wars, because your side is just that small. (Vi? Emacs? I prefer Notepad, myself...)

This results in a lot of disdain from your peers, to whom you are generally regarded as misguided at best, a Bill Gates bootlicker at worst. However, there are benefits to keeping an open mind, and with time, strange winds blow past even the stodgiest of technology's hard truths. You might end up being proven right... Someday.

You might have this flaw if:
You code exclusively in Visual Basic, and love it.
You think Microsoft Paint is a better image editor than anything else on the market.
"Perl (Lisp, PHP, COBOL, etc.) is the perfect programming language, and everything should be written using it!"

CrossFitter (4 pt Merit): You do CrossFit. While this may seem like a social flaw, it does have some physical benefits. When you are not talking about things you do in your box, you get a -2 diff to all physical rolls you take while you are exhausted. You can do this for up to 4 rounds until you burn out, at which point all rolls are at a +1 diff. Your box taught you to push until you can't push anymore, and then push again. Add 2 dice to any willpower roll you take to continue doing something when you are physically incapable of continuing.

Downside, though? You have to make a willpower check at diff 7 while in social situations when you think talking about the thing you did at CrossFit is appropriate to conversation. Which is always.
