Yule Party, whoo

Hey all!

So, Kiara is going to be throwing a party. She's not one big on the seasonal festivals but Yule is coming up so she's decided to throw a non-denominational sort of shindig at her apartment on the 21st of December.

In game, that's the date it will happen but given it's such a crazy time of the year with Christmas next week, end of year work insanity, etc. I'm not dead set on this being played out on the Sunday. Just throwing it out there that everyone she knows (or can conceivably contact via Ginger) would be invited if they wished to attend.

There'll be drinks, there'll be Verbena-style decorations everywhere, there may be a few Sleeper friends of hers from New York. In a nutshell, it'll be a fun, social thing.

If people have days/nights they're free, sound off and maybe we can pin down a time to actually RP the party and/or just grab me and we can do some at the party scenage if that's easier. Any way you can configure it, the details IC are as follows:

Where: 817 17th St, aka: Kiara's swanky little apartment [check the gallery here for more details and pictures, fourth row down, on the far right]
When: 8PM, Sunday the 21st of December
What: PARTY, it's whatever your character celebrates (or doesn't), it's a oh crap it's that time of year again party, it's a let's get drunk and dance party, pick your poison!
Who: If you're on Ginger, if you're not part of the Technocracy, if Kiara has your digits, consider yourself invited (and bring a friend, why not)
How: She lives one block from the light rail and the 16th Street Mall, there's plenty of access any way you want to play it.

I think Ian may be back in Denver by then. He will probably want to make an appearance, assuming work and holiday stuff don't completely consume my life. I'll be around Friday, I think. And possibly Sunday (the actual 21st.) I can always do a forum thing, too.

Even though Grace detests parties, she usually tries to make at least a token appearance at them, just in case.

I mean, vampires could break in or something, right? And then she'd be sad she wasn't there.

I can also do Sunday, but not Friday, I have a thing... Saturday is cool too.

I may be around! Not Saturday - company holiday party. Friday I'm running a WtA thing. Sunday I'll be coming home from party so we'll... uh... see how I'm doing.

What I may end up doing at some point as well is making a generic party forums post so anyone who might not be around to RP it out can chime in for appearances sake and/or just to bat a few posts back and forth.

As it turns out, I'm being dragged out to do some Christmas shopping this afternoon Aussie time anyway, which means I may be back online later than I intended.

However! I did throw up a forums post for Kiara's party so if I can't get back earlier, feel free anyone to throw in a post or two there and if you want, we can do a bit of forums RP or whatever works.
