Apparently the Botanic Gardens has a summer concert series. Actually there's a lot of cool looking stuff some PCs might be interested in, particularly those gardening Mages.
This Friday is also a free day at the Gardens. All the major science places have free days throughout the year, though I will be honest I make these up whenever I feel like it.
And finally, this Friday is another First Friday for the Santa Fe Arts District. Bear in mind that it's summer, and lately the weather has been pretty fucking wonderful (if rainy occasionally, but the rains have kept us from having our usual end-of-July 100+ degree heatwave), so this will most likely be PACKED. The hours of these things are usually 6pm-9pm but they never ever ever stay within that time period. A lot of the galleries offer snacks, food, and champagne or wine and maybe beer (at least one place I know has a bar, but I forget which place it is). The food trucks are also out in force, and there is usually at least one awning covered sound system blasting beats at eardrum exploding decibels.
It's pretty awesome.
Summer Concert Series Wrote:We are proud to bring you another summer of spectacular talent and unrivaled outdoor ambiance. Tickets are still available for some of our concerts! See Bruce Cockburn, Josh Ritter, Shawn Colvin and Michael McDonald.
This weekend the Indigo Girls are playing. IRL it's sold out, but whatever, man, it's a game, someone go crash it!
Vinyasa, Violins, and Vino Wrote:A one or two night yoga class held at the Gardens.
But there’s a twist! We invite you to bring a picnic and wine (or beer) to enjoy after class. Live music will be playing during the picnic hour, for a truly relaxing and perfectly lovely summer evening!
I can think of a few PCs who might be down for this sort of thing.
