I had a big long angry spiel written, but you guys deserve better. I'm all for collecting more information. Don't forget mental shielding. They show up as pockets of localized heavy entropy, if you want to tell them apart from normal people.

Just don't ever tell me that something shouldn't be done because I need to be afraid of them. Information is good, but if I can't get a hold on anything more convincing than the fact that they are sentient and thus deserve a chance at redemption, or nebulous warnings that I should totally be afraid? I'm going to act. If nothing else, because that one beast showed how willing she was to make shadows crawl into my lungs.
