I was able to get some information from Evan (the bartender,) though it should be taken with a grain of salt, since a lot of it hinges on assumption. I think most of it we basically already know, and the rest may not be that useful, but here's what he told me:
1: He doesn't like Grayson. At all. Thinks he's creepy and kind of a dick.
2: He's fairly sure that Grayson and a couple of the bouncers are involved in drug dealing, based on some sketchy behavior and a phone call he overheard.
3: Grayson is dating a woman named Kat who is, according to Evan, "gorgeous but kind of unhinged. And also weirdly religious."
4: There's a singer at the club named Milena Branco who Grayson used to be involved with before he got together with Kat (Milena actually came to Denver with him,) and the two of them still have a pretty heated, tempestuous relationship. According to Evan, she absolutely hates Denver, and he can't figure out why she doesn't just leave - "considering she walks around half the time with this look like she might murder someone just to make the day more interesting."
5: Grayson has a lot of weird and creepy friends who like to use the VIP area. (We already knew this.)
I think the only really useful thing I took from this is that these vampires might be more fractured, as a group, than we initially assumed. That could potentially be exploited. I'm not sure Evan's read on the Grayson/Kat/Milena situation was entirely accurate, but it does seem like there's a schism between them. As for Evan, he doesn't seem to know what Grayson is, or really have much sense of what he's involved in other than vague gut reactions. I got a read on his surface thoughts when I was talking to him and he wasn't deliberately lying. It's possible that some of the club's (mortal) employees have some involvement with whatever illegal activities Grayson might be up to, but I don't think all of them do. Some of them are probably innocent people who have no idea who they're really working for. So whatever we do, we should be wary of collateral damage.
