don't freak out! [site updates, changes, announcements]
#1
This is where I will post any updates, changes, or announcements that affect the Denver site overall. This includes any scheduled downtime, if I make changes to the design or location of links*, or any other general things that all players and admins need to know.

* This does not apply to individual systems pages. Systems pages are the domain of their respective admins, therefore all changes will be executed by them, not me.

Obviously, we have had a change of administration, but updates, announcements, and changes will continue to live in this thread.

Noel has obviously taken on the programming and design of the site. I have given her admin permissions so that she can make updates here when necessary, but since this thread is closed she will still be seeking feedback in individual threads where folks can respond.

Samael is staying on as the Mage Admin at present.

kai is still the Werewolf Admin.

Jess has taken over as Vampire Admin.

Thank you to Noel, Samael, kai and Jess. They will each define the best way to contact them, please respect their requests.

For my part, especially for the moment, you should feel free to use the site's email, and/or contact me via FPM or IMs if you have any questions or concerns about the site. However, if you contact me via IMs and I ask you save it for later, I should only have to ask once.

Thanks to errin for all her work on the site, and to everyone else for bearing up as we make changes and head into the New Year.

Cheers,

Liz

ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey guys,

I wanted to give you a heads up about an exiting new development for Denver.  I'm really happy to report that within 3-6 months we will be test-driving a new, more immersive experience.  Denver proper will continue as it has, but a new Jove module is in the works that will connect the chat to a 3-D interactive space.  What will you need?  Well, you will be able to connect in 2-D from your laptop or desktop, but if you buy an Oculus headset, you will be able to walk around and interact with other characters literally from your own characters' perspective.  Okay, so: initially we'll just have a room or two, but as the technology develops we should be able to pull in street scenes from google maps and end up with a really brilliant virtual facsimile of real-life-Denver.  Well, real-life-Denver plus magic and monsters!
