Most of you know that I have problems with arthritis. I've had a knee replacement before, and now it looks like the other one is headed for knee heaven, because it just doesn't function anymore.

And now -- I finally have an appointment. Jan 12 to whenever I become capable of thinking my way out of the painkiller haze, I will be gone. I don't really imagine having a whole lot of time for RP, because if I just lay in bed all recovery period, this kills the knee. I may be gone for a few weeks!

Just in time for Grace to go visit the fairy penguins in Australia and escape winter?

Aw, bless science for the fact they can give you a new knee. And definitely send Grace down under (obligatory dirty jokes go here). She can go hang out on the beaches. It's great beach weather right now.

And come Jan 12th, you take all the time you need!

I have been *marginally* back for a while now, but Tuesday (late at night, so more like Wednesday) I am going to be sprung from my rehab facility and join the world of actual adults who can do things like set schedules (how novel!)

I am also off work for the time being, still, so if anyone wants to do anything, you know where you can find me!
