So a while back Phoebe invited Baklava Republik to have dinner with Desert Oracle. Then things happened and time got away from me so instead of having something harvesty and post-Halloweeny, I'm going to throw out a thing for "around Thanksgiving." It'll be in the forums and will take place probably sometime over next weekend, but everyone is invited!
This is really just a heads up, and to let everyone know that their PCs can have heard about it however they might have heard about it and show up wherever I figure out to have it happen.
And it'll be a potluck thing, so keep that in mind for when I get the first post up.

if at all possible, can we do this live on the boards? i love feasty feast scenes, but usually on the forums it just ends up kinda stilted and drag-on-y!
BECAUSE OF LIGHT AND DUTY AND REASONS.

Ah, well I was hoping for forums because my availability's pretty shot for this week. Is there a time that works best for peeps next week?

Forums also means that everyone involved can be there, while chat makes that nearly impossible. Technically Winona would be there! However, if it's chat-bound given the time that's likely to be, she won't.

Yeah, but as Damon said-- Forums things tend to stretch waaaay way on. And I'm just going 'ugh' at the thought of a mass scene holiday thingy being something that lasts 10 days altogether.
With that said: Weekends work best for me! Saturday/Sunday. Or Friday evening.

My vote is really based on the fact that when a forums scene is primarily social (like a party), it tends to end up kinda... boring. There's not much momentum, and they tend to fizzle out. I think that's entirely due to the format, and certainly not the players involved or how long they can be involved, since we're all awesome.
On the other hand, this was Errin's idea and her character is hosting, so it should be up to her. That said, I'll be around on Wednesday evening, maybe some Friday evening time, and so far Saturday and Sunday are unplanned.
