Alex will get a text in the morning from Grace, because he has no Ginger and may hate her guts at the moment, it's not certain. But he cares about Kalen. And he should know what the rest of them do.
Kalen's in the hospital in a coma. University of Colorado Hospital. Not under the name Kalen. Thought you should know.

The reply may be a little slow in coming, simply because Alexander is rather withdrawn at the moment and not doing an awful lot related to other people. But he reads the message eventually.

What happened? What name is he under?
A further reply comes shortly after the first. Because, well, he does actually remember some of what Grace has tried to drum into him.

As requested, Grace does leave a note on the fridge. At the Chantry. Because Alex has no Ginger, they have to speak in code, and he gets that.
The note reads:
Kalen Holliday, Amelia (Sid) Weston, and Ian Something (sorry), along with 59 other people, have all fallen prey to some sort of magical effect that took their minds.

Lena says someone used magic to connect all of the clubgoers, the lights flashed, and they dropped.
We are investigating. A man who calls himself 'Maddoc Orion, Adept of House Verditius as if you didn't know which Tradition. of the Order of Hermes' met us at the club and told us he could tell us what happened, if we met him someplace safer. Will be at Patience's farm tomorrow.
P. S. - - Kalen is there under the name Elliot Dane.
