Obedear, the sky is low
Gather up its harm and gods
With grateful arms
Unrelated to WoD in any way, but one of the quirkier stories from my family's history is about an ancestor named "Obedear". His parents were illiterate (and rednecks), and the nurse filling out his birth certificate just wrote down what she heard, even though their statement that they wanted to name their son "after the prophet" confused her.
They were trying to name him Obadiah.
...Needless to say, this song caught my attention as soon as I saw the title.
somehow that one girls chase boys song is the first ingrid michaelson i've really listened to. it's so catchy. and, forgive me, but i am so taken with her sexy librarian look there *LOL*

there seems to be no grey area for damien rice, its love or hate. But I enjoy Run River North (Monsters Calling Home) and Alex Hwang's voice. The lyrics are really beautiful to this if you care for such things.
If you haven't listend to George Ezra before, he's a very talented lad.
